When to use eVSM’s Mix Transactional application
Use Mix Transactional to quickly capture the flow of work for services, office, and healthcare processes.
- The Mix Transactional VSM application is designed to increase the speed of each step in the improvement cycle (shown on the right), the quality of the improvement ideas generated, and clarity of the report out with current state, future state, and the implementation plan.
- The application supports key transactional mapping concepts such as decisions, parallel work, loop-backs, re-work, critical path, etc.
- The map will help you engage the extended team in the conversation and remove waste. It highlights bottlenecks and losses in the value stream and permits “what-if” studies.
You can apply Mix Transactional in 2 different ways
- You can just sketch out the value stream flow without metrics. This requires minimal training. It is very fast and standardized.
- You can enhance the sketch with data values that will then automatically calculate lead time, cost, and resource utilization. Built-in charts and gadgets help visualize the analysis results.
