eVSM License Transfer

License Transfer Policy

The eVSM license is hardware locked, so each purchased license can be run only on the PC it is assigned to. You can transfer the license to another PC and/or another user. There is currently no charge for a license transfer.

Restrictions:

Multiple Installations of eVSM

Normally, only one version of eVSM can be installed on a PC. This is installed in the c:\Program Files(x86).. directories. For testing and training purposes, multiple versions of eVSM are sometimes necessary. These additional versions can be installed on the Desktop via a special download. These additional installations are contained in a folder on the Desktop called "Desktop eVSMvXXX" where XXX represents the version number. The files are delivered in a ZIP download which can be un-ZIP’d directly on the Desktop.

What to do if the Activation Key is Rejected in v8

1. Make sure the Activation Key is for the right machine.

The eVSM license is hardware locked, so each purchased license can run on one machine only. The activation key assigned for a specific machine will work only on that machine. The activation key is locked to your machine's Hardware ID number, which can be viewed by clicking "Start>Programs>eVSM Software>Get Hardware ID ". You will see a dialog box similar to this:

Software Return Policy

The licensee (customer) is responsible for making sure the software will work in their environment. To facilitate this ahead of a purchase, fully functional but time-limited trial versions of the software products are made available along with supporting documentation and technical support. The software once purchased is non-returnable.
